Roles & Responsibilities:
• To assist in implementation and oversight of EHS system that meets the needs of the Company and requirements of industry standards
• Develop safety strategies and promote EHS culture in project site.
• Coordinate EHS programme initiatives
• Analyse data on EHS performance, conditions, and practices
• Liaise closely with site operation staffs and Project Managers to review new work process and lead risk assessment relevant to the new process
• Conducts safety meetings, inspections, and trainings to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
• Plan, Implements, monitor and maintain appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
• Respond to day-to-day EHS issues as required
• To lead in site incident investigation or non-compliance and propose corrective actions.
• Lead and coach site safety team to facilitate continual improvement of quality of safety team
• Liaise with relevant authorities on related EHS issues
• Ad-hoc duties or assignment as instructed by the Management
Requirements:
• Possess a valid WSHO & ECO registration with MOM & NEA respectively.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience working as WSHO in local building construction projects
• Substantial understanding and knowledge of local regulation, Singapore Standards and Code of Practices especially related to HSE
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
