About the role:
SIMBA Telecom has been appointed as Singapore’s 4th mobile telecommunications network service provider and currently we are building Singapore’s newest 5G mobile and fixed broadband network.
To join us and be part of this exciting journey, we are looking for telecommunication professional with transmission and XGS-PON access experience, who also a great team player with right attitude.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Design, plan, and implement the network – IP Routing.
- Lead IP network testing procedures and acceptance tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Cooperate with different teams to achieve and complete the assigned tasks.
- Performance the network change requests
- Lead and participate in various projects for the IP network service integration, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, communication links and routing protocols
- Conduct network audits and assessments of IP networks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions
- Liaising with internal/external partner to ensure daily operation and site implementation are smoothly executed
- Providing forecast ETA for IP infrastructure readiness in align with stages of project plan.

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:
- At least 4 years of working experience as an IP Network Engineer
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma specialized in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- CCNP or CCIE certification preferred
- Proficiency in IP network engineering, network security, design, operation, and optimization tasks.
- Familiar with Internet, MetroEthernet and IPVPN solutions.
- Experienced on the network products from Cisco, Huawei, and others.
- Essential skills in network routing protocols ISIS, OSPF, eBGP/iBGP, FRR, BFD, LDP, RSVP, VLL and VPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, QoS, MPLS.
- Proven ISP transit will be a bonus
