Our client is a leading 3rd party logistics company. Due to their expansion, their operations at GUL is currently looking for a LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Salary offered: Basic up to $2500 + OT Claims
Work location: Near Joo Koon MRT
Work days: 5 days week
Transport: Provided from Jurong East MRT
Work terms: Permanent with attractive benefits
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with stakeholders on status of orders to ensure shipments are expedited smoothly to destination
- Plan and track the shipment to ensure timelines are met and according to customer requirements
- Coordinate, monitor and oversee inventories
- Address and resolve issues related to transportation, customer, import and export, and logistics systems
- Prepare shipping document (invoice and AWB)
- Maintain shipping document and RMA document
- Assist in preparing internal and customer report
- Liaise with warehouse on status of orders (eg. pick, pack, delivered)
- Liaise with forwarders for cargoes collection and shipping schedule
Requirements
- At least a GCE'O' levels
- 1 year of working experience in Logistics/Supply Chain coordination
- Good problem solving, interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
- Good command of English Good communicating skills
- Good organization and time management skills
- MRP and computer knowledge i.e. Microsoft Office
