Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the SAP system is available 24/7.
- Manage user and client administration, authorization management, system performance, audits, transport management system, background jobs, patch installations, system backups and recovery, kernel upgrades, and OS/database maintenance company-wide.
- Oversee and conduct SAP business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
- Ensure optimal server performance and carry out preventive maintenance for smooth daily operations.
- Handle SAP daily support tickets within defined service levels.
- Act as the custodian for SAP system architecture, hardware, and integration landscape.
- Manage relationships and coordinate with third-party vendors.
- Deliver all IT projects on time.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Essential knowledge in Basis Administration.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant SAP Basis experience.
- Basic understanding of SAP HANA and NetWeaver technology.
- Interest in software development processes.
- Previous experience with S4/HANA is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficient in troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Capable of working independently and leading projects.
- Experience with Linux and SAP S4/HANA environments.
