As a Digital Manager at our media agency, you will be at the forefront of client engagement, leading conversations and crafting comprehensive digital strategies that span from upper-funnel brand awareness to bottom-funnel lead generation. Your role will encompass overseeing strategy implementation and providing guidance to our planning team, ensuring seamless execution aligned with client objectives. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving tangible results for our clients across all stages of the marketing funnel.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations of a Digital Manager/ Senior Digital Manager:
- Client Engagement and Strategic Planning:
- Lead client discussions on digital, consumer & CRM journey, understanding their business goals, target audience, and competitive landscape.
- Lead on day to day running of the account with clients & agency partners
- Develop end-to-end digital strategies that encompass upper-funnel awareness and consideration activities through to bottom-funnel lead generation and conversion.
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, offering insights and recommendations to optimize digital performance and achieve desired outcomes.
- Support the Associate Director in ensuring that we deliver high client satisfaction scores (which means we constantly have a pulse on the relationship).
- Drive relationships at the appropriate levels of our client organizations.
- Multi-Funnel Digital Strategy Development:
- Craft tailored digital strategies for each stage of the marketing funnel, utilizing a mix of channels such as social media, search, display, programmatic, 3rd party publishers/platforms etc.
- Help provide communication solutions that consider all potential appropriate routes, e.g. with a focus on performance media – paid search, programmatic, digital, social etc
- Creates strategies and makes in-depth recommendations based on strong grasp of analytics, marketing & research concepts.
- Recommendation to client to develop compelling creative assets and messaging that resonate with target audiences at each funnel stage.
- Implement lead generation tactics and conversion optimization strategies to drive qualified leads, maximize conversion rates, lower CPL/CPA etc with planner and performance specialist.
- Implementation Oversight:
- Oversee the execution of digital campaigns, ensuring they are implemented effectively and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance closely, analyzing key metrics and KPIs to identify optimization opportunities and drive continuous improvement with planner and performance specialist.
- Manages the daily work flow of all client campaigns, and working with various internal and external stakeholders, including creative agencies and media owners to deliver campaign objectives and ensure seamless campaign execution across all channels and touchpoints.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the planning team, empowering them to excel in digital strategy development and execution.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's digital expertise and keep them updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Able to organise and delegate, sensitive to needs & problems of reporting staff – works across buying and planning issues.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop comprehensive performance reports, analyzing campaign effectiveness and ROI across all funnel stages.
- Present findings to clients in a clear, compelling manner, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization and future strategy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, incorporating new insights into strategy development and implementation.
