What the role is
The Sustainability Division (SD) develops and drives sustainability initiatives across various sectors (e.g. households, commercial, business) to contribute to Singapore’s efforts in mitigating climate change and moving towards a zero-waste nation. Specifically, the Households Branch in SD administers and drives energy efficiency (EE) and 3R (i.e. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) programmes for households.
What you will be working on
You will develop, administer, and review energy efficiency and 3R programmes for households. These will include the following:
- Implementation of Climate Friendly Households Programme, which includes
- Reviewing programme design and eligible products
- Addressing feedback, enquiries and appeals from members of the public
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Engaging with retailers on operations-related matters
- Conduct data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and evaluate programme effectiveness
- Support in other ad-hoc duties
- Planning and implementation of recycling study
What we are looking at
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Quantitative skills and proficiency in data analysis and projections
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service, stakeholder engagement and data analysis
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Good team player, excellent interpersonal skills in engaging stakeholders
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Able to work independently
- Meticulous with an eye for detail
