Finance Analyst
Our client is in search of a qualified individual to join their professional team, providing support to the Financial Planning and Analysis function in analyzing business operations in the SEA+ region. This role involves preparing regular weekly and monthly reports, periodic Forecasts, Strategic Plans, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely and accurate management reporting, including weekly sales estimates, monthly P&L, and financial trend reports for APAC.
- Assist in delivering review/presentation decks as needed by the business.
- Update Intercompany Sales and COGS by Business Unit/Product Segment for regional counterparts.
- Assist in the development and loading of Forecasts, Strategic Plans, and AOP.
- Monitor Opex spending, distribute Opex reports to cost center owners, and provide guidance to ensure actual spending aligns with Forecasts and AOP.
- Update Trade Sales and COGS by Business Unit/Product Segment for direct entities.
- Drive improved accuracy and process streamlining to enhance current practices.
- Support go-direct initiatives and track performance.
- Prepare and provide analytical support for key monthly financial deliverables such as New Products and OPEX.
- Handle other Ad Hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Holds a professional degree in Accounting and Finance.
- Brings 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar position within MNC.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and collaborates effectively with others in projects and innovation.
- Excels in analytical thinking, effective communication, and presenting reports and ideas concisely.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, Hyperion, and BI tools. Experience with SAP or macros would be advantageous.
