Our client, a distinguished company in the engineering sector, excels in delivering comprehensive solutions for the petrochemical, energy, and oil & gas industries. Their extensive portfolio encompasses the design and manufacture of process refrigeration systems, compression systems, and various process equipment. In response to their recent growth and expansion, they are currently seeking to augment their team with the addition of a Project Manager.
Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be;
· Spearheading the engineering team, delegating responsibilities to project managers and engineers.
· Analyzing and deciphering customer specifications, codes, and standards.
· Engaging with international customers to resolve technical and project requirements.
· Overseeing project documentation, encompassing data sheets, schedules, and ensuring adherence to local and international standards.
· Participating in the review of design and construction drawings.
· Procuring materials while guaranteeing quality and budget compliance.
· Partnering with QA/QC to uphold project quality standards.
· Backing after-sales teams during commissioning activities.
· Upholding compliance with ISO and other safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
· Possess a Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
· At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the compressor systems industry.
· Inherent self-motivation, high integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
· Possess Project Management skills, AutoCAD, and knowledge of Microsoft Projects.
· Understanding of ASME and API specifications is preferred.
· Robust understanding of rotating machinery, process refrigeration, and thermodynamics.
· Readiness to travel for customer support and field engineer assistance.
