Responsibilities:
- Spearhead strategic planning for long-term lift maintenance, incorporating industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Lead a team of lift technicians, providing mentorship and guidance to optimize performance and foster professional development.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as regulatory agencies and lift manufacturers to stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs, leveraging predictive analytics and advanced monitoring systems to anticipate and prevent potential issues.
- Manage complex lift upgrade projects, from initial feasibility studies and budgeting to contractor selection, project execution, and post-implementation evaluation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on lift-related matters, providing expert advice and recommendations to senior management and other departments within the Town Council.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase operational efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of safety and service quality.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and major lift-related incidents, coordinating cross-functional response efforts and ensuring swift resolution to minimize disruptions and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Engineering equivalent
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in engineering industry
• Good organizational, reporting and supervisory skills are essential
• 5.25 work week, half day on alternate Saturday
