We’re looking for a warm and energetic People Experience Associate to be part of the People Experience team to create fun, meaningful and memorable moments. This role is integral to supporting our employees and aids in fostering a proactive, mission first, high-performing culture. You will be working closely with our People Experience Specialist, org development and business partnering teammates to bring empathy, fun and insights to our workplace, creating an inclusive and conducive environment for our employees to thrive in.
Some of the people initiatives that Carousell is known for include Carousell Essentials (our onboarding programme for new joiners), CarouAnniversary (which celebrates Carousell’s Anniversary across various teams and local offices) and Blue Sky Friday (a day set aside for teammates to prioritise their focus work), to name a few, and we’re looking for the ideal candidate to partner with the People Experience Manager to dream up more winning possibilities!
You will
Support all aspects of internal and external events, including but not limited to:
Conducting research on venues, vendors and logistics as needed, submitting RFPs to vendors; and making recommendations based on creativity, quality and cost
Working closely with the IT team for set-up and tear-down of events
Working closely with the Creative Design team to produce event publicity collaterals
Organising and coordinating logistics across key stakeholders and vendors
Assisting with budget tracking and event post-mortem reviews; ensuring event participation rate is maintained at 80%
Resolving issues with resourceful and creative solutioning
Develop strong relationships with coworkers across functions and squads to have a pulse of the company
Support the People Experience Manager in the roll out of engagement surveys and coordination of focus groups
Support Administrative tasks (Blue Sky Friday, Purchase Requisition, Take stock on Carousell-Branded Swags, and other misc tasks)
