Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative professional to join our team as a Bakery Research and Development Chef / Quality Assistant Manager. In this dual role, you will be responsible for driving innovation in our bakery products through research and development while ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
Responsibilities:
Research and Development:
- Lead the development of new bakery products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other confections.
- Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences.
- Create and test new recipes, ensuring they meet quality, taste, and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to market.
Quality Management:
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures for all bakery products.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and maintain consistency in product quality.
- Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues, working closely with production teams.
Operation Management:
- Oversee the daily operation, ensures the quality, standards, and meet the expectations of the customers.
- Ensures compliance to food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Responsible for hire, train Outlet Managers and their teams.
- Manpower planning and scheduling of work for outlet staff.
Qualification:
- At least 5 years relevant operational experience in F&B chains. Experience in R&D, operation and quality control.
- Relevant food hygiene officer and other certifications.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Eastpoint Mall, AMK Hub, White Sands Mall, Jurong Point, Lau Pa Sat, Seng Kang Kopitiam Square, Causeway Point, Waterway Point Mall.
