Project Manager

Aeg Power Solutions Pte. Ltd.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership of Project / Order Management, Order Administration, Application Engineering and Technical Documentation and Control teams.
  • Manage the delivery of all Critical Power System Solutions Projects. Project life cycle generally covers phases from order placement to delivery, installation and commissioning through to testing and proving before handover.
  • To include responsibility for Project co-ordination externally between client / consultant, sub-contractors and suppliers and internally between other AEG departments including Sales, FAE, Finance, Order Administration, Application Engineering, Manufacturing and Service Operations.
  • Provide single point of contact for the customer with particular responsibility for attendance at site meetings, submission and preparation where appropriate of method statements, risk assessments, project schedules, drawings, O&M manuals, FAT procedures and when required attendance at factory witness tests.
  • Operate within and strive to improve defined project performance measures including target delivery margins, cost budgets and on time delivery etc.
  • Work closely with the Service Operations Department to co-ordinate engineering resource ensuring all site works are performed efficiently and with costs only incurred that can be charged to the project.
  • Attend and where necessary chair handover / kick-off meetings and project progress meetings internally and externally as necessary
  • To drive continuous improvement with regards to on time delivery, increased project margin and customer satisfaction, maintaining departmental reporting in line with Company requirements and provide detailed information and progress reports to Director Global Project Execution when requested.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualification in Engineering, preferably with an electrical bias or suitable electrical engineering
  • Project Management experience, ideally in an engineering environment.
  • Experience within the Power Engineering field preferably within the Industrial Market Sector.
  • Commercial awareness and proven ability to maintain and wherever possible increase project margins.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to successfully interface with various departments and personnel at all levels.
  • Multi-tasking ability with a flexible approach to work.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction.
