Responsibilites:
- Create daily schedules for collection and delivery routes, optimising efficiency and minimising delays.
- Address any issues that arise during collection or delivery promptly and effectively.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other expenses related to trips.
- Organise regular training/ toolbox sessions.
- Perform cross training for team members.
- Schedule regular maintenance for all vehicles in the fleet, including inspections, servicing, and repairs.
- Ensure that all team members complete required safety training courses.
- Monitor the performance of team members and provide feedback as needed.
- Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination of collection and delivery activities.
- Approach problems with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Be prepared to step in and fulfill the duties of other fleet supervisors in their absence.
- Develop protocols for responding to emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or severe weather conditions.
- Lead investigations into incidents or accidents involving fleet vehicles.
Requirements:
- Min ITE holder/Diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
- IT savvy (Words / Excel / Power Point) minimum
- Possess class 3 driving license
- Off on alternate Saturdays
- Independent, self-motivated with good coordination and communication skills
- Able to work in fast paced environment; Team oriented and dynamic
