RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM).
- Be involved in the organisation and operations of major strategic events undertaken by the unit, including front line responsibilities like hospitality during events, ushering of VIPs/guests.
- Assist in the administrative, operational, technical and logistical aspects of assigned events.
- Be aware of the current general topical issues locally, regionally and globally, and be able to propose and write on relevant topics/synopsis.
- Work collaboratively within the Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing, with other SMU key offices and external organisations to jointly mount major strategic events.
- Diploma or Degree with 1 to 2 years relevant working experience.
- Event management experience.
- IT savvy.
- Able to articulate confidently.
- Team player with good inter-personal skills.
