Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Wu Jie starting from Aug-2024 under programs of photo electrocatalysis, carboxylation with CO2, automated synthesis.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Explore new strategy on photoelectrocatalysis and automated synthesis.
- Guide junior students
- Help to prepare new proposal
Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree in organic synthetic chemistry or Ph.D candidates who already submitted their doctoral thesis may also apply.
Skills:
- Organic synthesis, performing air and moisture sensitive reactions, titration, compound purification.
- Operation and interpretation of data from NMR spectroscopy; HPLC; IR spectroscopy; UV-vis; Cyclic voltammetry (CV); mass spectroscopy.
- Familiar with various chemistry related softwares and databases.
Experience:
- Experiences in flow chemistry and photochemistry are preferred.
