Location: Tuas (Company pick up available - West & North)
Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 + Transport Allowance + Commission + AWS
Working days: Monday - Friday
Working hours: 8:30am – 4.30pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
In Direct Sales Role:
- Find and meet potential/existing customers to explore sales opportunities.
- Visits job sites to understand customers’ requirement and propose solutions
- Prepare quotations and conduct product & application presentations to customers.
- Develop new businesses (new products, new applications and/or new segments)
- Regularly update sales activities and quotations progress in the company CRM.
- Conduct monthly sales review and submit monthly report on sales performance.
- Update market share and competition activities and take necessary actions
- Gather & leverage on market info to seek business opportunities
- Carry out marketing activities to promote and build product Brand & Image through trade shows, advertisements, direct mailings, sales seminar, etc.
In Subsidiaries Sales Role:
- This individual should be working closely with the Subsidiaries’ Sales Team to meet and/or exceed their sales targets.
- Ensure Subsidiaries have a proper sales management system in place to:
- Manage their customer database
- Monitor their enquiries, quotes, sales (delivery) and lost sales
- Monitor market share, gather market and competitive information
- Ensure Subsidiaries and their sales team are well-trained in product and application knowledge to make sales calls, sales proposals and presentation, independently.
- Time-to-time, to make joint visits to Subsidiaries to review their business development and sales progress, carry out joint-sales customer visits and gather market and competitive information.
- This individual is to share and discuss with the Subsidiaries on what is seen and observed in their market place to set up action plans to gain access to the customers’ inner circle to promote and sell T&L products and services that will give customers good benefits
New product development:
- Search and conduct market surveys for new business opportunities/products
- Establish business relationships with vendors (manufacturers)
- Support Management in develop business proposal to secure distributorship.
Requirements:
- “A” level or Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Preferably with at least 3 years in sales role
- Preferably with relevant technical background
- Willing to travel (at least 10-20% of their time)
