Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to students in a school setting.
- Assess students' emotional and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized counseling plans.
- Conduct counseling sessions with students to address their concerns and challenges.
- Offer guidance and support to promote students' personal and academic development.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling during emergencies or challenging situations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
- Stay updated on best practices in school counseling.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Master’s in Psychology or Social Work or equivalent.
- Registered with Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) or Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW)
- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant counselling experience, preferably dealing with young adults.
- Prior experience in psychological incident or critical incident management will be an added advantage.
