Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Linux Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle Linux systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Linux servers and systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform regular system updates and apply patches.
- Implement and maintain system security protocols.
- Manage system backups and restoration processes.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Linux Administrator, specifically with Oracle Linux.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Linux installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Linux server environments and networking concepts.
- Experience in system monitoring and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with system security principles and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Oracle Linux certification (preferred).
