Responsibilities:


Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for developing key marketing and promotional programs with a clear focus on returns and deliverables on membership recruitment.


Conceptualising and implementing marketing plans and strategies that will increase the profile and performance of the club and its separate divisions in line with its overall marketing objectives.

  • Initiate, plan and implement corporate marketing initiatives and membership experience campaigns with an understanding of latest market trends.
  • To plan and implement strategies for recruitment of new members.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of sales and promotion activities to drive membership sales and increasing membership base.
  • Review and make recommendations on improvement to membership policies.
  • Conceptualise and write the club’s publication, website, facebook and other collaterals and publicity mediums.
  • Create and review corporate communication and marketing communication channels to achieve brand mileage.
  • Increase social media presence to maximize outreach and increase the club’s youth base.
  • Evaluate events and marketing programs’ effectiveness to constantly improve marketing ROI.
  • Organise and administer event evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Possess a tertiary education from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven track record and sound knowledge of sales experience in club membership/sales
  • Experience in different forms and marketing channels not limited to social, media, advertising, online, visual, digital and preparation of marketing materials
  • Experience with organizing events, road show and able to get sponsorship
  • Able to do strategic marketing planning
  • IT savvy
  • A go-getter with strong self-motivation who values teamwork, collaboration, decisiveness and passion for marketing business
  • Confident, strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and must have the ability to articulate
  • Well-developed leadership qualities with strong multi-tasking skills
