Job Description:
- Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project.
- Work closely with project team & contractors to mitigate and control all high risk hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
- Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time.
- To identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice is carried out in the worksite.
- Implement and monitor environmental, health & safety management system on site.
- Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain of documentation for all EHS issues according to ISO.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.
- Liaise with relevant authorities on all environmental and safety issues.
- Support all in-house EHS initatives.
Job Requirements:
- Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety And Health or MOM recognized certificates.
- Registered Workplace Safety And Health Officer.
- At least 5 years' experience as Workplace Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry.
- Experienced in HIP / HDB BTO projects.
- Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated.
- Respect for deadlines, sense of urgency.
