Job Summary

The Supervisor plays an active role in providing excellent service and creating amazing dining experiences for all our dining guests, and manages a section of staff in the Front of House to ensure the smooth running of daily operations in line with the Company’s direction.


Duties and Responsibilities


1. Operations


● Assisting the AM/Restaurant Manager with inventory management, proper planning, and utilization of available resources.


● Work with AM/RM to improve the FOH Standard OperatingProcedures (SOP).


● Work with AM/RM to execute on profitability measures through meeting revenue targets and managing costs.


● Jointly responsible for achieving sales targets, quality expectations, and service performance.


● Documentation of daily sales and menu item sales.


● Work closely with the kitchen team on food feedback and improvement.


● Ensure all areas, including the entrance and back areas, are clean, neat, tidy, and smell-free before operations.


● To ensure all equipment is kept in working condition and report any deficiencies.


2. Service


● Be able to describe the food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide insights and recommendations of beverages within our program


● Take the lead in taking food and beverage orders from guests


● Actively supervise the team to ensure the needs and expectations of all our guests are met and, hopefully, exceeded


● Play an active role in creating exceptional guest experiences throughout the restaurant


3. Human Resources


● Work closely with the AM/RM to execute training initiatives,


● Assist AM/RM to evaluate, lead, and motivate, new/existing staff.


● Play an active role in promoting a cooperative, and happy working environment


● Actively plan work schedules to ensure sufficient, yet cost-efficient, manning for all shifts


4. Health and Safety


● Work with AM/RM to organise initiatives to ensure dining space is clean and tidy, exceeding expectations set under the Government and Company’s food safety and hygiene standards. To ensure these initiatives are executed.


● Monitor and ensure proper handling of equipment, and track breakages.


5. Others


● Any other tasks assigned to you by Assistant Manager/ Restaurant Manager.



Requirements

- With some relevant F&B service experience. Training will be provided.


- Candidates with at least 2 years of strong experience in managerial roles may apply for Supervisor.


- Confidence, excellent customer service, and hospitality skills


- Friendly and Courteous


- Good communication and interpersonal skills


- Well verse in English


- Leadership Skills


- Team player with a positive can-do attitude


- Attention to detail and able to adapt to any situations


- Problem analysis and problem-solving



Working Hours


5 Working days per week
