Position Description:

This position is on the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team in the Technology and Operational Risk Organization. The Identity & Access Management Asia Risk and Reg Lead is responsible for representing the Access Management organization in the Asia region and covers all IAM related risk and regulatory relationships for countries in Asia except for China. (e.g. Japan, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, etc..). This resource represents Access Management to key stakeholders and will directly interact with auditors, regulators, and other risk areas.


Job Responsibilities with a focus on the offices in Asia:

  • Primary Access Management Control contact for the Asia Region.
  • Responsible coordinating IAM responses for regulatory and auditor inquires.
  • Collaborate with the various IAM & global risk teams for regulator and auditor inquires.
  • Represent IAM in steering committees and working groups.
  • Collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, and other IAM product owners to identify, define, and prioritize IAM requirements coming out of the Asia offices.
  • Communicate stakeholder needs through user stories and product backlog.
  • Define and manage monthly Key Risk and Productivity Indicator (KRI & KPI) metrics.
  • Responsible for summarizing monthly accomplishments for executive reports.

Applicant Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management controls and best practices
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and possess solid execution skills.
  • Prior experience responding to Regulatory and Auditor inquires
  • Able to understand complex concepts quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people skills are must since this position interacts with all levels of resources across the organization.
  • Detail oriented but understands broader impacts of requests.
  • Demonstrates critical thought and probes beyond the surface of the requested data to get at the valuable (actionable) information.
  • Possesses a strong analytical, quantitative and objective outlook.
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities as necessary.
  • Manages multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously and in an organized and results-oriented manner.
  • Great knowledge of Microsoft suite specially advanced features in Excel.

Requirements for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management
  • Experience with Regulatory Bodies in Asia
  • 10+ years professional experience required
  • Knowledge of the banking/financial services industry is a plus
