Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repair and maintenance tasks.
- Respond to fire emergencies and coordinate with local fire departments.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency backup systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other facilities staff.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and procurement plans for maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on ACMV, fire protection, and electrical systems.
- Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of ACMV, fire protection, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
