Position Overview:
The Quality Coordinator's responsibilities include coordinating Materials Review Board (MRB) activities, managing and reviewing non-conforming materials, tracking and performing inventory transactions, and reviewing and submitting the First Article Inspection Report into the customer’s portal. Additionally, they ensure that day-to-day quality activities are maintained and adhered to.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibilities include coordinating and tracking the status of all Material Review Board (MRB) non-conformance materials and performing timely inventory transactions.
- Conduct inventory inspections and containment activities when non-conformances are identified.
- Assist with or lead non-conformance investigations and material assessments.
- Provide investigation feedback on non-conformances to internal stakeholders or directly to suppliers.
- Interface daily with various departments to update the status of open MRB items and seek resolution for non-conforming items.
- Verify parts returned from suppliers before returning to stock.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers by coordinating with relevant departments on quality-related issues and supporting Customer’s FAIR submission.
- Monitor and coordinate the routing, approval, and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO) / Procedural Change Orders (PCO) using AGILE.
- Undertake any ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by Quality Engineers and the Quality Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferably with 2 years of experience in quality control, engineering, inspection, document control, or related work.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is advantageous.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
