Responsibilities:
- Supervise database administration, encompassing configuration, installation, and support.
- Ensure seamless database operations through backup, restoration, and performance tuning management.
- Engage in database upgrades, implement security measures, and execute server migrations as required.
- Develop and upkeep detailed database documentation, including procedural guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance on database technologies to application teams.
- Aid in resolving complex database incidents and identifying root causes.
- Offer support during regular and off-hours, including on-call availability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Linux-based database administration experience.
- Proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong familiarity with cloud-based database services, particularly AWS RDS.
- Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB administration.
- Proficient in database architecture design, installation, migration, and upgrades.
