Job Scope:
- Coordinate between BIM Modelling Team, Design Consultants & Contractors.
- Use BIM for coordination, sequencing & constructability with relevant parties.
- Troubleshoot any BIM software/tools problems from the BIM Modelling Team.
- Provide basic training to Engineers/Designers on operating BIM software/tools.
- Perform clash checks and host clash review/resolution meetings with relevant parties.
- Follow standards, workflows, settings, and best practices to ensure high-quality, consistent model and drawing output throughout the project.
- Participate in regular BIM coordination reviews throughout the project duration.
- Liaise with Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer.
- Ensure all productions are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the PM necessary for project execution.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Architectural Engineering or relevant field with working experience in the construction industry or BIM certificate.
- 4-5 years of relevant working experience in BIM/Civil/piping/E&I.
- Knowledge of Bentley, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in implementing BIM processes in large construction projects from tender to completion is an advantage.
