Business Development Manager
Salary: $ 6,000 - 7,500 + Transport Allowance + Commission
Work Day: 5.5 day/week
Location: Tuas
Working hours: 8:45am – 6pm
Key responsibilities:
1. Identify, search and develop New Businesses
2. Assist in the business set-up to support new business.
3. Drive Sales volume and develop new accounts for all assigned products within the business unit.
4. Provide sales/technical support with an overall new business/product responsible.
Duties & Responsibilities:
New product development:
- Search and conduct market surveys for new business opportunities/products.
- Establish business relationships with Supplier.
- Once proposal is approved, to proceed with business set-up and/or work with subsidiaries to market these new products/services.
In Sales Role:
Find and meet potential/existing customers to explore sales opportunities.
- Visits job sites to understand customer's requirement and propose solutions.
- Find and meet potential custoemrs to explore sales opportunities.
- Prepare quatations and conduct product & application presentations to customers.
- Conduct monthly sales review and submit monthly report on sales performance.
- Update market share and competition activities and take neccessary actions.
- Gather & leverage on market info to seek business opportunities.
- Carry out marketing activities to promote and build product Brand.
In Subsidiaries Sales Support/Marketing Role:
- Manage their customer database.
- Monitor their enquiries, quotes, sales and lost sales.
- Monitor market share, gather market and competitive information.
- Ensure subsidiaries and their sales team are well-trained in product and application knowledge to make sales calls, sales proposals and presentation, independently.
- Should make joint visits to subsidiaries to review their business development and sales progress, carry out joint-sales customer visits and gather market and competitive information.
