Description:
Liaising with Supervisors and engineers to gather scaffold structural requirements, Insulation cross section, calculating dimensions and material specifications, and creating detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
To commit a maximum 34 hours in a week.
To have and maintain good communication with immediate superior and contactable at all times.
Responsibilities:
· Liaise with supervisors and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs
· Calculate dimensions, weight limitations, and requirements in materials
· Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
· Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineer's and supervisors' team
· Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
· To update team members at least 2 working days in advance before going for leave, in order to minimize downtime
· Review and revise drawings to meet design and safety standards.
· Maintain organized and easily accessible drawing records.
Requirements:
· Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD. Sketch-up
· Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and drawings.
· Ability to interpret and work from images, sketches, and equipment specifications.
· Knowledge of scaffolding / Insulation principles is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
· A commitment to delivering high-quality work within defined timelines.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience as a drafter
· Able to work independently with minimum supervision
· Able to communicate with subordinates, clients, contractors, project teams, and higher management.
· Able to read scaffold drawings and professional engineers' scaffold drawings
· Detail knowledge in Singapore Scaffold Standard (SS659) and site scaffold requirements
· Preferably Higher secondary/ Pre-U/ A level/ College/ Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/Graduate Diploma/ Office Skill Certificate or equivalent
