- Manage a team of Tender Quantity Surveyors.
- Coordinate the entire tender process, from identifying opportunities to preparing and submitting bids.
Ensure that tender documents are completed accurately and meet the requirements outlined in the request for proposal (RFP) or invitation to tender (ITT). - Work closely with internal teams such as project management, engineering, finance, and legal to gather the necessary information for tender submissions.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants, to obtain quotes and technical information.
- Review and analyze tender documents to understand project requirements, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
Prepare tender documents, including technical proposals, financial proposals, and supporting documentation. - Ensure that all tender submissions comply with industry standards, client requirements, and legal regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on tender documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Submit tender proposals within the specified deadlines.
- Monitor the tender process, respond to client queries, and attend pre-bid meetings as required.
- Coordinate post-tender activities, such as contract negotiations and clarification meetings.
- Analyze the outcomes of tender submissions to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain records of tender submissions and track success rates to inform future strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, business, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in construction industry with minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in tendering for building projects including residentials, hospitals and schools will be advantageous.
