Responsibilities
- Safeguarding the firm’s and network’s assets, data, applications, systems, and technology, while fostering and promoting business objectives
- Developing and executing secure procedures and systems to prevent, identify, lessen, and recover from cyber threats
- Collaborating with management and business department heads to educate and manage technology risk
- Constructing and leading a cybersecurity strategy and framework, with initiatives aimed at securing the organization’s cyber and technology assets and data
- Regularly assessing and managing the organization’s cyber and technology risk stance
- Implementing and overseeing the cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) process
- Providing regular updates and periodic cyber-risk reports to the management.
- Developing, justifying, and evaluating cybersecurity investments
- Creating and executing continuous security awareness training and education for users
- Heading cybersecurity operations and implementing disaster recovery protocols and business continuity plans with a focus on business resilience
- Certifying the compliance and security of the firm's technology implementations
- Regularly collaborating and communicating with our Information Systems team to help the business continually enhance its security posture.
Requirements and Skills
- Possessing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a field related to these.
- Minimum of 15 years of established experience in risk management, information security, or programming, preferably in Professional Services.
- Possessing a robust understanding of scripting and source code programming languages and generative artificial intelligence.
- Being knowledgeable about information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
- Familiarity with the cyber landscape, actors and threats, and the evolving security landscape.
- Exceptional negotiation skills for negotiating contracts and IT support services.
- Proven experience in working effectively across various Asian cultures and levels of seniority.
- Having the personal gravitas to engage effectively with decision-makers as a strategic business partner.
- Excellent people management and coaching abilities to cultivate a high-performing team.
