- Responsible for the preparation of assigned financial reports, implementation of accounting policy and extensive account analysis.
- Works under minimal supervision.
Payroll Management:
- Liaise with HR department and Release of salary payments.
Cash Management:
- Accounts payable management
- Cash Projections
- Timely escalation to management if required.
Statutory Compliance:
- Maintain proper records as per relevant rules and regulations.
- Up to date with relevant laws
- Liaising with tax agent, internal departments, and statutory bodies
Maintenance of full set of accounts to deliver accurate and timely delivery of management reports and for statutory compliance:
- Record revenues for the relevant period as per contract terms and relevant rules.
- Record expenses for the relevant period as per contract terms and relevant rules & regulations.
- Maintenance of supporting documents.
- Liaison with relevant internal & external parties.
Management Reporting:
- Understand management’s data requirement.
- Liaise with internal and external departments for accurate information & data.
- Keep historical data update.
- Data analysis
Requirements:
- 6-8 years related experience in engineering or Construction Industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA); Master Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- Experience with foreign currency theory preferred.
- Knowledge of General Ledger Systems Intermediate
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting System Intermediate
- Knowledge of GAAP and Financial Statement structure Intermediate
- Knowledge of foreign currency terminology and concepts Intermediate
- Multi-tasking ability (Prioritize, organize, schedule work)
- Intermediate Problem-Solving skills (Identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)
- Intermediate Human Relations Skills (Written, Verbal, Client Service)
- Intermediate Leadership ability (Team building, coaching, mentoring, change management, advising)
