Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, revise, and evaluate contracts for the company's operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Manage and resolve various legal disputes, including lawsuits and arbitrations, in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Conduct legal risk assessments for the company’s business activities and provide strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide legal advice to different departments within the company on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, employment law, and intellectual property.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Perform other legal tasks and projects as assigned by the department.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law from a recognized university, preferably with education completed in Singapore.
- At least two years of experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department. Experience in the internet or technology industry is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s legal and regulatory environment. Knowledge of Malaysian law is a plus.
- Excellent command of both Chinese and English, with the ability to use both as working languages.
- Strong logical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a meticulous work attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- High sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
