This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced interior design leader to join a dynamic team. You will be responsible for securing and executing projects through public tenders, overseeing the entire process from initial design to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process, creating functional and creative space plans that meet client visions and public tender specifications for commercial and industrial spaces.
- Champion public tenders by identifying and responding to relevant opportunities.
- Manage project details by preparing construction drawings, specifications, and material estimates.
- Develop competitive project quotations to win tenders.
- Source, manage, and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure high-quality project execution.
- Build strong client relationships by managing all project aspects, from initial meetings to post-completion follow-up.
- Conduct thorough site surveys to inform design decisions and project feasibility.
- Prepare and submit compliant tender packages and confidently represent the company in tender meetings.
- Prepare BQ for sub contractors
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an interior design leader in the commercial and/or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of space planning, construction methods, and regulations.
- Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and possess a strong work ethic.
