Roles and Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager in Food & Beverage with Delivery

1. Operational Management

  • Overseeing Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day activities in the restaurant, ensuring all F&B operations run smoothly.
  • Delivery Coordination: Supervise the delivery process, ensuring timely and provide accurate order fulfillment.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure all items are stored correctly.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

2. Team Leadership

  • Staff Supervision: Lead, mentor, and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on service excellence, delivery protocols, and new menu items.
  • Scheduling: Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficient operations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any team issues or conflicts promptly and fairly.

3. Customer Service

  • Immaculate Customer Service: Assist in dine-in service to serve customers with a smile. Take orders and ensure customer's orders are processed properly.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to ensure a positive dining experience, both in-house and via delivery.
  • Feedback Management: Handle customer complaints and feedback, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Special Events: Coordinate special events and promotions to enhance customer engagement.

4. Financial Responsibilities

  • Budget Management: Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Cash Handling: Oversee cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation.

5. Marketing and Promotion

  • Promotional Activities: Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers, events, and new menu items.
  • Social Media Engagement: Engage with customers on social media platforms, promoting the restaurant and interacting with followers.
  • Community Outreach: Build relationships with local businesses and communities to drive brand awareness and customer loyalty.

6. Health and Safety Compliance

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Training: Provide regular training to staff on health and safety protocols.
  • Emergency Procedures: Develop and implement emergency procedures, ensuring all staff are trained and prepared.
