Job description: -
•Maintain animal health by diagnosing and treating diseases as well as injuries
•Determine the nature of disease or injury by examining companion animals
•Restore animal health by treating animals surgically or medically as well as other disorders by conducting medical tests on animals and providing inoculations
•Promote the health of animals by advising animal owners about sanitation measures and general care
•Document actions by completing and updating forms and patients’ records
•Reporting diseases to public health officials if necessary
Job requirements: -
•Candidate MUST possess at least a Degree in Veterinary Medicine/Surgery and must be MRCVS registrable
•At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
•Work independently or with minimum supervision and as part of a team
•Display a good work ethic and a friendly and cheerful disposition
•Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality
•Maintain the strictest levels of hygiene
•Pursue professional development for the continual improvement of animal care
•Open to new ideas and learnings
