Overview: As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in our production team, supporting the Production Manager and overseeing daily operations. Your responsibilities will include managing production orders, ensuring sanitation, maintaining Halal standards, developing new products, and handling quality control. You will also need to be familiar with operating and troubleshooting production machinery and be prepared to contribute to our overseas market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Production Manager:
· Support the Production Manager in overseeing all production activities.
· Ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Daily Production Management:
· Manage and organize daily production orders based on office administration directives.
· Ensure timely completion of production tasks.
3. Sanitization and Cleanliness:
· Maintain and enforce strict cleanliness and sanitation protocols in the production area.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Halal Compliance:
· Ensure all production processes adhere to Halal certification requirements.
· Involve in all aspects related to Halal standards and practices.
5. Product Development:
· Create and develop new products annually for customer reviews and sample tastings.
· Collaborate with the team to innovate and improve product offerings.
6. Quality Control and Food Wastage:
· Monitor and report monthly food wastage.
· Implement quality control measures throughout the production process.
· Take responsibility for any product damage due to personal reasons and provide detailed reports.
7. Machinery Operation:
· Operate and maintain machinery used for making dim sum and pau products.
· Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues to minimize downtime.
8. Equipment SOP Awareness:
· Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all equipment.
· Be prepared to handle machine breakdowns and ensure continuous production.
9. Overseas Market Expansion:
· Participate in our expansion efforts to the Vietnam market.
· Be willing to travel and work overseas as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with Halal certification processes and standards.
