Job Description
- Demand forecasting: Planning of monthly forecast and work with respective factories on stock ordering. Study and analyze customer buying trends and ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time.
- Inventory management: Optimizing inventory levels to minimize storage costs and avoid over stock or out of stock. Monitor stock balances to ensure sufficient fulfilment to the trade channels.
- Transportation planning: Prepare necessary shipping documentations and selecting the most efficient and cost-effective routes for shipping goods.
- Shipping management: Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, with respective factories in the region, 3PL & forwarders for shipments to/from overseas.
- Vendor and stakeholder management: Liaise with internal department stakeholders such as sales and warehouse team to ensure smooth inventory operations as well as with factories and 3PL vendors.
- Data analysis: Using data to identify stock trends, track performance of products, and make informed decisions.
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Demand Planning is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Efficient at multi-tasking and prioritizing
- Proactive, responsible, good communication & attitude, hands-on attitude
