About the role
The role will manage legal and management consolidations for the Industrial and TPC Sub-groups, provide support to users for Oracle FCCS as well as Business Partnering with Finance Business Partner.
The right person will handle both management and legal consolidation and reporting for the Industrial and TPC Sub-groups and support internal and external reporting requirements including ad-hoc reports for management.
The other responsibilities include handling year-end group audit including preparation of group audited financial statements and disclosure notes, sub-group consolidation and year-end sub-group audit, including preparation of audited financial statements and disclosures notes.
This role requires teamwork across borders, coordinating and working with both local and overseas finance teams to improve reporting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting. He or she will assist in the continual improvement process of Group reporting in Oracle FCCS. Jedox reporting writing skill will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
1) Monthly management reporting for IMC Industrial/non-Industrial Group:
· Ensure timely reporting to BUs and management.
· To ensure consistency and improvement in work process, accounting treatment and reporting.
2) Legal consolidation to deliver the AFS
· Liaise with auditors for various audit issues
· Prepare Group Audited Financial Statements and finalisation within reporting timelines.
3) Oracle FCCS support and report writing in FCCS and Jedox
· Set up reports for management and legal reporting in FCCS and Jedox
· Support BUs in Oracle FCCS usage and troubleshooting.
· Take on ad hoc and special projects as assigned from time to time by Supervisors
Background and Qualifications:
· Strong consolidation, financial and accounting knowledge, preferably previous experience in complex structures.
· Understanding of accounting processes and management required
· Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards including IFRS, SSAs, etc.
· Hands-on working knowledge of Oracle FCCS system
· Strong Excel skills.
· Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken)
· Equivalent qualification in Accountancy
· Minimum 3 years experience in Group Reporting or Audit
