My client is a leading fintech solutions firm with a global presence, supporting clients with IT technology and providing an institutional level trading experience.
We are hiring for a Technology Engineering Manager, in Singapore for a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and deployment of a robust, efficient, and scalable high-speed trading tech.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers across regions and act as a technical lead
- Work with product managers and multiple stakeholders to ensure project goals align with business needs in trading.
- Establish coding, testing, and deployment standards to ensuring the trading platform’s reliability and security while maintaining maximum efficiency.
- Innovate by staying updated with trading tech advancements and integrating new tools.
- Oversee project timelines, resources, and risks to deliver on time and within budget.
- Secure data and system access to safeguard financial information and meet regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5-8 years’ experience in software development related to creating high-frequency, low-latency systems solutions in finance. - Previous work in finance, FX or CFD sector is preferred.
- Expertise in the technical A to Z of understanding scalable trading systems from network setups, data flows to managing downtime.
- Expertise in the in-depth knowledge of trading algorithms, data structures, and system architecture for real-time operations.
- Technical proficiency in languages like C++, C#, or Go.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a must, to communicate with mandarin-speaking stakeholders in the China region.
