Working Location / Hour : Raffles Place MRT / 9.00am to 6.00pm (Mon - Fri)
Remunerations : Up to $5,800 basic + 2 to 4 mths Variable Bonus + flexi benefits + yearly increment + 25 days AL + permanent staff benefit
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the day-to day functions of the Back Office, with a focus on Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables for local and oversea operations in ensuring proper, accurate and timely completion of the accounting duties
· Daily processing of Accounts Payables and Receivables and updating of the relevant accounting systems
· Liaising with Settlements team for processing of trade invoices and GL
· Preparing daily bank reconciliation and following up on outstanding reconciling items
· Processing of overhead as well as employee payroll and claims and posting of the corresponding journals
· Responsible for overhead recharges and liaison with counterparties
· Covering for team members in ARAP team, when necessary
· Assisting in tax and audit matters
· Addressing of audit points and observations
· Other ad-hoc duties and accounting projects
Requirements:
· Bachelor in Accountancy or on track to obtain a professional certificate (ACCA)
· At least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience from Oil & Gas, Marine or Commodity Trading (Hard Commodity) industries
· Good knowledge of accounting principles , AR, AP and GL
· Automation experience on accounting process. E.g. involved in automation projects before. This role involves automation so not just BAU AR/AP work.
· Experience in accounting projects with automation or IT systems
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
· Good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
· Meticulous, conscientious, hands-on, and positive
· Sun/Horizon/IMOS system experience is an advantage
· Proficiency in MS Office especially in Microsoft Excel
