QAQC Manager

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd Singapore Branch

Responsibilities

  • Establish quality standards and requirements to meet project QAQC requirement include BCA Quality Mark (95 point) and CONQUAS (Band 1).
  • Develop quality management plans and procedures to comply project requirement.
  • Conduct internal QAQC check on all construction work, material and equipment.
  • Lead QAQC team to conduct QAQC regime (inspection and audit) on regular basis.
  • Attend to Employers Rep comment, complaints and site memo on QAQC matter.
  • Identify and address quality issues and non-conformances for material, workmanship and plant and equipment.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Provide training on quality assurance and control.
  • Review and approve quality documentation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on quality matters.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Participate in project planning and design reviews.
  • Ensure quality documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate quality objectives and expectations to project teams.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies on quality requirements.
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits.
  • Conduct Units hand over schedule with Site manager for Hand over to units owners; to lead the hand over team for unit hand over.
  • Submit QAQC record and checklist to Employer Rep
  • Attend to Defects inspection with units' owners and Employer Rep
  • Prepare hand over regime pertaining to QAQC matter.
  • Document all QAQC replated records, inspection form, compliance or site memo closure matter.
  • Organize trade demo for inspection and approvals.
  • Establish Preventive and corrective measure for site execution.
  • Lead a team of supervisor and task team to conduct QM and conquas.
  • To attend to BCA and other authority agency for the QAQC Matter
  • Submit QAQC report for Project report and Authority report.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or QAQC
  • 7 years’ experience in similar roles as QAQC manager
  • More than 10 years’ experience in construction industry especially in QAQC practice
  • Well-versed with BCA Conquas or QM course (merit to have certificate)
  • Familiar with ISO 9000 documentation (merit to have certificate)
