PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Engineering Manager is responsible for the full spectrum of engineering functions, both strategically and operationally. Manage Engineering resources and monitoring KPI in alignment with CP’s overall direction. Manage the maintenance of relevant Design, Analysis, and Product Data Management software to achieve high performance, innovative and competitive products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Direct and coordinate activities of the Engineering Department to design and manufacture the products and systems.
2. Direct the department activities to modify product design and improve production techniques.
3. Confer with the management, production, and marketing team to determine the engineering feasibility, specs review, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
4. Maintain and manage product specifications.
5. Review and ensure all job drawings are correct and complete according to customer requirements prior to issuance to production.
6. Interface with the customer on Project management status and technical reviews.
7. Manage Product Evaluation program with customers.
8. Support production and quality department by interfacing with the engineering team to resolve all technical issues of the products and make disposition on products e.g. feasibility analysis of product usage for customer.
9. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.
10. Adheres to company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
11. Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
12. Promote and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:
· Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing
· Social Activities
13. Set Departmental Key Performance Indicator (KPI) with the team.

QUALIFICATION GUIDE
1. Education : Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Industrial or material science subjects
2. Communication : Fluent both in oral and written English and/or Chinese
3. Experience : Proven and Solid 5 years of work experience in the same field and the Oil & Gas equipment Manufacturing Environment
4. Software/Hardware : Knowledge of CAD tool like solid works, inventor or pro-E and read machine drawings
