As a Senior Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for:
(a) working with all staff, but particularly the Associates, Seniors and Landscape Architects on a number of projects and professional office tasks
(b) responsible to the Directors, Associates, Seniors on all project work (to which you are assigned), administration work and the particular design, documentation and professional duties to which you will be required to contribute
(c) assisting in design, documentation and contract administration tasks and duties on individual projects as executed by the project teams.
(d) assisting on a number of projects, for which you will prepare and be involved in design, documentation and contract administration work on your own or with the project team.
(e) programming your own tasks and undertaking work for and alongside CAD and Senior Technical staff on particular projects as part of project teams.
(f) Communicating clearly and carefully with external consultants such as Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Specialists, in the coordination, undertaking and successful completion of projects, latter being something that we shall guide you.
(g) developing design (detailed) work for colleagues for internal review and client presentation.
(h) production of design and documentation drawings and details using CAD (computer aided design).
(i) preparation of tender documentation, assist with tender process including review and evaluation under the guidance of a senior or Director.
(j) assisting on contract administration tasks and duties, including site inspections (review construction works for both soft and hard landscape), meetings, record keeping and correspondence.
(k) working closely with Clients and Project Managers in providing a professional service of the highest international standards, attending meetings where required, on your own or assisting other team members.
(l) working on overseas project opportunities including potentially China, the Middle East and the rest of South East Asia, to the highest international standards, with all care and attention to the particular requirements of the overseas country.
(m) planning your work in a practical, transparent and efficient way in order to meet agreed deliverables and deadlines.
(n) managing office tasks including; assisting in the management of the office libraries/databases, filing, product/material research and maintaining the office environment in a clean and tidy manner.
(o) researching and recording information, images and/or photos of successful landscape (hardscape and softworks) designs/details and images for information, use and storage within the office databases and libraries.
