Requirements
- Degree holder in chemical/chemical engineering related, with at least 2 years of process engineering in chemical industry
- Good computer knowledge
Job scope
To manage the functions of oily wastewater treatment operation, liquid waste transfer operation and flammable liquid store.
To create and conduct periodic review of operation processes and workflows, and make recommendations for improvements and executing the improvement plans with involvement of facility PSM.
As an effective flow manager, to assist Operation Directors to monitor the safe flow and backlog level of TIW waste with coordination with Operations, Infrastructure, Technical, Sales, EHS and other departments.
To manage and optimize the resources (manpower and equipment) with effective cost control to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
To ensure the staff of the department are well trained on SOP/RA, Take5, 5S etc. and follow up correctly.
To compile, analyse and update the Management with necessary and appropriate monthly reports (e.g. on cost, productivity, quality, non-conformance, and etc).
Maintain all documents related ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 SOPs
To conduct daily toolbox meeting for daily activities arrangement and brief staffs on the operations and EHSQ topics.
Involved in EHS committee.
To compile annual budget of plant operations and Maintenance for Director’s approval and to ensure expenditures are well within the budget allocation.
To ensure unloading related pumps/equipment spare parts inventory and facilities well maintain by working closely with engineering staffs to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedule for operations and regular maintenance of machinery and flammable storage tanks safety devices, instruments and storage tanks thickness test etc.
To update and maintain the key equipment failure analysis and process troubleshooting manual and ensure staff are trained accordingly.
To lead the monthly TIW stock count and Ops paperless project.
To activate emergency response team of operation and maintenance staffs and response to any in house spill and fire incident if in case of emergency.
To liaise with EHS department to ensure fellow department staffs are upkeep with method of handling and emergency equipment usages in terms of spills and fire incident and to conduct regular practice and drill exercises with different scenarios to workers so that they are well familiar in emergency to response in time.
To undertake any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management, from time to time
