INTRODUCTION
The Senior Officer (Marketing & Engagement) will play a pivotal role in driving marketing and engagement efforts with a strong focus on technology and supercomputing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and utilizing tools to maximise the reach and impact of the NSCC initiatives. The role requires strong marketing and communication skills combined with an interest in technology and a good understanding of high-performance computing (HPC) and supercomputing technologies. Responsibilities will include coordinating key corporate and marketing events as well as develop technical and technology-based content for publicity assets.
JOB SCOPE
The candidate will be an integral part of NSCC publicity, communications, awareness, and marketing plans for a diverse audience of stakeholders from the technical and non-technical communities. The candidate will help develop and coordinate events and create compelling technical and non-technical marketing campaigns and initiatives to generate awareness, engagement, and adoption of the centre supercomputing services among key stakeholders, including researchers, scientists, industry professionals, and government organisations. The aim will be to promote NSCC HPC capabilities and educate local and international audiences about the benefits of HPC in advancing innovative research. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute events and marketing initiatives to promote the NSCC and its supercomputing services, targeting researchers, scientists, industry professionals, and government organisations.
- Develop technical marketing strategies specifically tailored to the supercomputing industry and target audience such as identifying unique selling points of the NSCC supercomputing services, understanding technical requirements, and highlighting technical benefits.
- Create compelling and technologically-oriented HPC content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, blog posts, case studies, videos, and presentations, effectively conveying the value and benefits of the centre offerings. The content needs to effectively communicate complex supercomputing concepts to technical and non-technical audiences through whitepapers, case studies, technical blog posts, or video content that dives deeper into the technical aspects of supercomputing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum degree holder
- Experience with corporate events, marketing and publicity.
- Track record of managing successful marketing and communication campaigns.
- Familiarity with technology, science or research is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and applying digital tools to aid in productivity.
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation to drive marketing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
