JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for driving the growth and success of an organization by identifying new opportunities, fostering client relationships, and executing effective marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and vision. This role requires a dynamic professional with a strong blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and marketing expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Strategic Planning:
• Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive business development and marketing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify market trends, potential areas for growth, and competitive opportunities.
Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Analyze data to generate actionable insights and make informed recommendations for business expansion.
Lead Generation and Conversion:
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships through proactive networking, research, and outreach.
• Manage the end-to-end lead conversion process, from initial contact to successful deal closure.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
• Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customized solutions.
Proposal Development and Presentation:
• Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs and organizational capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposals are accurate, relevant, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
• Contribute to the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that promote the organization's products/services and enhance brand visibility.
• Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and communication across all marketing channels.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor a team of marketing and business development professionals, setting performance goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
Budget Management:
• Assist in the budget planning and allocation for marketing and business development activities.
• Monitor expenditures and analyze ROI for marketing initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
Partnership and Collaboration:
• Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances that enhance the organization's market presence and offerings.
Data-driven Decision Making:
• Utilize data analytics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and business development efforts.
• Make data-driven recommendations for optimizing strategies and achieving growth targets.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, representing the organization at conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
• Build strong relationships with industry professionals, clients, vendors, and partners.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in business development and marketing roles, with a demonstrated track record of achieving growth targets.
• Strong knowledge of market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Proficiency in data analysis, budget management, and project coordination
