We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Data Center (DC) and System Integration for a regional project. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee data center operations and system integration across Singapore (SGP), Hong Kong (HK), and India (IN).
This role requires occasional travel to India is required to support the Data Centre Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage the Data Center and System Integration project across multiple regions (SGP, HK, IN).
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Data Center Management: Oversee the operations, maintenance, and integration of data centers in Singapore, Hong Kong, and India.
- Ensure data centers meet the required standards for performance, security, and reliability.
- System Integration: Manage the integration of various systems and applications within the banking client's infrastructure.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of systems.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
- Travel Requirements: Travel to India as required to oversee project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Data Center operations and System Integration.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in the banking or financial services industry.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in managing Data Center operations and System Integration projects.
- Data Centre Infrastructure:Knowledge of data centre design and architecture.Understanding of cooling, power, and cabling infrastructure. Familiarity with data centre operations and management.
- System Integration:Experience with integrating various IT systems and applications. Knowledge of middleware and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi). Understanding of API management and web services (REST, SOAP).
- Networking:Proficiency in network design and configuration.
Understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies. - Server and Storage:Experience with server hardware and operating systems (Windows, Linux). Understanding of storage solutions (SAN, NAS) and data backup strategies. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Cloud Computing:Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud solutions. Understanding of cloud security and compliance.
- Security:Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption. Familiarity with data protection regulations and standards (GDPR, ISO 27001). - Compliance and Standards:Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (ITIL, TOGAF).
Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues. - Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, operations, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent risk and issue management skills.
- Occasional travel to India is required to support the Data Centre Projects
