Ugene Lab is the premier food testing laboratory. We provide customers with a broad range of microbiological and chemical testing, rapid testing, hygiene monitoring and specialized test methods developed to meet customer needs. We are seeking applications from candidates who is meticulous and have a mind for customer service and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Perform online research (e.g., Google, LinkedIn, etc.), and identify potential companies who require food testing services.
- Identify suitable customer contacts at companies who require food testing services, and call to inquire into their food testing needs.
- Upon identification of a credible customer lead, share contact details and specifics of the conversation with manager for follow-up.
- Monitor existing customer contracts, and track contract expiration dates. Prior to expiration of contracts, contact customers, and persuade them to renew.
- Prepare quotations to customers, and follow up.
- Upon closing a deal, follow-up with customer, and coordinate with the Dispatch team to schedule sample collection.
- Respond to customer queries received through email and telephone, and address queries accordingly.
- Maintain and update customer's contact details.
- Represent the Company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Operate to the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with also the ability to communicate with our Mandarin speaking customers.
- Looking for driven individuals with great customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent time management skill.
- Strong attention to details.
- Able to work 5.5 days with alternate Saturday off.
