About Our Client
Our client is one of the market leaders in sustainable paper packaging with their own patents. They are looking for a Product Manager - Packaging/Paper who will be the first hire in APAC to look into developing new products and innovating a new core product for the company.You will be working closely with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and might need to travel in the region to visit production factories. The client is partnering with some of the largest global retail brands on their paper packaging solutions.
Job Description
The Product Manager - Packaging/Paper will need to be a superb communicator to work with and influence with stakeholders across different seniorities, both internally and externally. You will need develop a compelling new product through your understanding of customer needs and market trends. You will also need to have good Product Management skills and you will be responsible for the end-to-end product cycle.You will be given a lot of autonomy and you will be responsible for coming up with the entire product roadmap and strategies for the product. You will need to be hands-on and independent in order to do whatever it takes to launch a successful, well-loved product including pricing and marketing strategies. You will be responsible for all core products within the company.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- 3 or more years' of experience in the product management and prior experience in development in similar domains
- Experience in indirect businesses and distribution channels
- Ability to manage internal stakeholders across seniorities and functions
- Quantitative and analytical skills; make good data-driven decisions
