Responsibilities:
• Custom design of Advanced Probe Cards for wafer level testing based on MEMS technology.
• Execute the feasibility analysis of a new probe card design and prepare report for customer feedback in a timely manner
• Perform PCB physical layout (parts placement, routing, trace length adjustment, verification etc.)
• Apply PCB electrical knowledge (high-speed design, RF, and power) to meet project requirements
• Understand product specifications, manufacturing design rules, applications to design the custom probe card
• Prepare probe card design data for PCB physical design (parts placement, routing, TLA, verification, etc.)
• Utilize a logical design approach to prevent design defects
• Responsible for the overall design schedule to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining good design quality
Requirements:
• Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years related Electrical or PCB design experience
• Candidates with no related experience but with keen interest in design work will be considered
• Experience in probe card design or application
• Candidates with related experience in hardware board level design, test interface design, semiconductor test or semiconductor product engineering-related field
• Experience in Signal Integrity and high speed design, with emphasis on power distribution at a system level in PCB and/or packaging
• Good knowledge and experience on the Analog and Digital circuit
• Good knowledge and experience on the SI/PI
• Experience in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, CAM350
• Basic scripting or programming skill is an added advantage
